About Us
The Paris Agricultural society remains a symbol of one of the most notable characteristics of Ontario pioneer life, the spirit of community and co-operation. It was in this spirit of co-operation and sustainability that the Paris Agricultural Society was established in the Town of Paris 151 years ago.
Our Society’s goals are to conserve and celebrate the history and culture of agriculture through experiential learning activities with different agriculture groups. We also provide, on an annual basis, increased public awareness of the farm life through our fall fair.
We give knowledge derived through hands-on experience and enrich community life through the effectiveness of organizations in the community.
These goals are achieved through volunteerism and community leadership in the County of Brant and the Town of Paris with activities on the grounds of the Paris Agricultural Society.

We are proud of our involvement in the community. Working with a variety of agricultural and livestock groups we are always looking for ways to support our community and the goals of the society. From our ongoing support of many agricultural interest groups to helping in the yearly Christmas Food Hamper Program, are always striving to make a difference.
Almost every day we support worthwhile charities and groups by donating and discounting our facilities so that they can continue to do their important work.
Our many volunteers eagerly become involved in worthy causes and our facilities are often used to support them. Here is a partial list of people and groups that we are involved with:
- CHRISTMAS FOOD HAMPERS
- BRANT COUNTY COMMUNITY MEETINGS
- 4H CLUB
- JUNIOR FARMERS
- BLOOD DONORS
